Merrie Amsterburg: Winner
of two Boston Music awards, one Boston Phoenix award, and a Jam Magazine
award Both of Merrie's cd's were listed in the top ten 
albums of their
release year by writers for the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Rolling
Stone.com, Improper Bostonian, Kansas City Star, Immedia Wire Service,
NoHoLA magazine. Merrie has appreared on NPR/PRI radio shows "Mountain
Stage", "World Cafe" and "Acoustic Cafe". Merrie's performance on "Mountain
Stage" was chosen for the "Best of Mountain Stage" radio program. Her
music has been used in the MTV series "RealWorld" and was featured in
the MTV movie "Anatomy of a Hate Crime: The Matthew Shepard Story".
Merrie has toured with Paula Cole, Aimee Mann, and most recently, Patty
Larkin. She has also sung the national anthem for both the Boston Red
Sox and Boston Celtics.
